Chocolate Cream Cheese Dip

Makes: 2 cups of dip Prep time: 15 minutes

Ingredients

1 cup of good quality semi sweet chocolate chips

5 tablespoons heavy cream or half and half

8 ounces full fat cream cheese at room temperature

1 and 1/2 cups sifted powdered sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla

Tiny pinch of salt

Directions

Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave safe bowl for one minute.  Stir the chocolate chips until they are completely melted, then set aside to cool.  In the bowl of your mixer, cream together the softened cream cheese and the powdered sugar until smooth.  Add in the vanilla, pinch of salt and the cooled chocolate.  Add the cold cream and beat on high for a few minutes until it is smooth and creamy.  Store in the fridge until ready to use.
