I came home from my appointment, only to find this box on my doorstep!!! 💛 I smiled from ear to ear, and this amazing gift turned my whole day around!!! 8 years ago, I started my blog never imagining I would get to work with incredible companies like @generalmills !! October is my birthday month, and the fact that they went out of their way to make me feel special, makes me so happy and feel such gratitude !!! In ever dark cloud, is a silver lining. ⛈️🌈Thank you from the bottom of my heart, @generalmills and @cheerios ! You made my whole month!!! 💛💛💛💛💛💛

I couldn’t wait to use my beautiful new @caraway_home sauté pan, and was so impressed by how totally non stick it is!!! I haven’t felt up to cooking lately, but yesterday I said to myself, “I’m making this and we’re going to eat the whole thing “! It was sooo good!!! I played around with ingredients and made substitutions and added extra seasoning, and it came out great !!! You could def sub ground chicken, turkey or even firm tofu! The recipe is in the comments.     Hi my friends. A little about what’s happening wit Hi my friends. A little about what’s happening with me lately. I was diagnosed with my first skin cancer and had to have a Mohs procedure. A few days later, it got badly infected and it’s become a huge challenge with the stitches and meds and my worry about what my poor face will look like when it heals. PLEASE PLEASE wear sunscreen and protect your skin, and say a little prayer this gets better quickly. Also, it was basal cell, the most common and curable form of skin cancer, but please take care of your skin. This has been a bit of a nightmare.

From the instant I held you, my life changed in the most extraordinary and beautiful way. Nothing could ever compare to the love I have for you, my beautiful girl, or to the immense pride I feel watching the extraordinary woman you have become. Somehow, these years have flown by, and now you are preparing to begin a family of your own. The only thing I can imagine that could compare to the incredible joy of being your mama is the blessing of someday becoming a grandmother to your babies. My greatest hope is that wherever life takes you, and whatever you choose to do, you will always carry with you the knowledge of how deeply you are loved and how unbreakable the bond between us will always be.
